The concept behind the Be Twin Lines project is to take the movements of a dance and convert them into a computer generated profile, which captures the shape of the various movements made by the dancer. These computer-generated outlines are then rotated into 3D space to produce two sculptures on either side of the outline. What is left are two unique, computer-generated sculptures, with the shape of the dancer’s body represented by the negative space between them.

The duration of the dance that the project is based on is 111 seconds long, sampled at 25 images per second - the most common frame-rate for video. This creates a total of 2,775 unique sculpture pair NFTs representing each frame of the dance. The frames represented in the NFTs can then be used to produce physical 3D models. Each NFT embeds the I.P. of the 3D models, giving NFT owners exclusive rights to 3D print their sculptures and showcase them as they wish.
