In addition to detailed tutorials, Open Tezos also provides a simple and readable explanation of the history and origins of blockchain technology, which came about amid the financial crisis of the late 2000s, as a potential alternative to traditional, centralized systems. Tezos has its own origin story, which is also included, complete with links to the original 2014 Position Paper and White Paper authored by L.M. Goodman.
You can navigate the content on Open Tezos however you want, either dipping into the various modules as required, or via 'paths', geared towards various types of user, including developers, scientists or entrepreneurs. Many modules contain links to further reading and more detailed technical explorations of the various topics that can be found on other forums including Tezos Agora.
