Founded by Carsten van Husen, former board member and CEO of Gameforge AG, bills itself as ‘the players’ publisher’. In an August 2nd announcement on the company’s website, the company explained:

Web3 enables publishers to build games that incorporate user feedback and give gaming communities a real stake in the ecosystems they contribute to as players. New games, associated NFTs, and the native $LEET token from ELEET GAMES will all be built on Tezos

ELEET plans to launch several games, both on and off-chain, but promises that ‘anything blockchain remains optional’. Alongside new Tezos-based games, ELEET is planning the launch of a new native token, $LEET, and has announced that 50% of the revenue generated by its games will be shared with token holders.

Oathbound is a ‘hybrid’ on/off-chain MMORPG currently in development by ELEET GAMES. Alongside all future Web3 games from ELEET, Oathbound will be built on Tezos.

With a promise of ‘putting gameplay first’, the majority of ELEET’s upcoming games will be free-to-play, with the first, Oathbound, a ‘hybrid’ on/off-chain MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game), currently in development. Meanwhile, a ‘buy to play’ game, Might’N Mow’Em is currently in beta.

There’s a lot of buzz around gaming on Tezos, with the launch of Ubisoft’s Tezos-based in-game NFT platform Quartz making headlines late last year, and major new Tezos-based trading card game Emergents TCG going live just this week.
