Picture this: you just joined the Tezos ecosystem either as a developer, or an artist, or maybe just a regular user that wants to get deeper in the community to meet more people, or to let the community know about a cool Tezos product you are working on, or just to ask a question(s) to learn more about Tezos. Where do you go? Is there a Discord channel? A telegram group? What other social media channels are there?
This is exactly what we will cover in this article, a list of some of the major Tezos channels on various platforms where you can easily reach the Tezos community.
Discord #
- Tezos Discord
The main Tezos discord channel where you can find developers, artists, defi users, Tezos shows, and many more Tezos related channels. - The Tezos Community (TTC) Discord
TTC is another community driven Tezos server on Discord where you can find giveaways, fun poker tournaments with prizes sponsored by Tezos projects and more! - TezCorps Discord
TezCorps is a Tezos Discord server that hosts a lot of channels for Tezos projects while at the same time bridging them with other servers and groups even if they are on different platforms (i.e. Telegram)
Telegram #
- Tezos Platform
The biggest Tezos Telegram group where you can ask your Tezos related questions, follow announcements from projects in the ecosystem, and much more. - Tezos Trader
This group is specifically for Tezos trading discussions, charts, analysis etc. It’s an extension of the Tezos Platform group where trading discussions are against the rules so they are all directed to Tezos Trader. - Tezos Community Group
One of the most active Tezos telegram groups where you will find a diversity of Tezos community members discussing all about Tezos! - Tezos Governance
This Telegram group is focused on Tezos governance discussions between bakers, developers, and more community members.
Slack #
- Tezos-Baking Slack
This Slack server is focused on all things Tezos Baking. Baking guides, questions, or support from other bakers, it’s all there! To join, you will need an invite from an already existing member so if you are interested, use one of the other channels to ask for an invite and someone from the community will send you one! - Tezos-Dev Slack
Just like the baking slack, the Tezos-Dev slack is “invite only” and this server is focused on Tezos developers. Whether it’s smart contracts or protocol upgrades or anything around Tezos developer questions, this is the place to be. So if you’re a developer, ask for an invite in one of the many Tezos channels.
Tezos Reddit #
The r/Tezos subredditis one of the most vivid Tezos channels, with more than 70k members you will see posts and announcements for all kinds of Tezos topics and it’s also a great place to ask your questions or introduce your Tezos project to the community.
Tezos Agora (forum) #
Tezos Agora, like I’ve said in a separate article, is the place to be if you want your comments, questions, suggestions, announcements etc. to be seen by all the ecosystem players. Focused on (but not limited to) Tezos governance, in Tezos Agora you will find posts from core developer teams, developers, Tezos DApps teams, bakers, and of course various community members.
Tezos Stack Exchange #
The Tezos Stack Exchange is another great place to ask all your technical Tezos questions or to find answers for them if they have already been asked before. The Stack Exchange has hundreds of Tezos related technical questions answered by various community members, this is the place for people developing on Tezos and have a technical question.
“Tezos Community” Facebook Group #
In case you are a Facebook user, the “Tezos Community” group is a great place to follow Tezos news, ask your Tezos related questions, and interact with community members.
Please note that in this list I have included only interactive groups/forums that are Tezos specific and that’s why I have left out Twitter and other social media channels where there is also a big Tezos presence. There are also a lot of groups dedicated to specific Tezos projects and teams which also weren’t included as the list would be neverending!
With that in mind, if you think I have left out any important Tezos focused groups, please let me know so I can include them. Lastly, if you’re interested to find more places with Tezos content, make sure you read my “Tezos News, Shows and Community Calls!” article!
