Etherlink Monthly Wrap: Edition 1
Your monthly update on the latest in the Etherlink Ecosystem.
6 minute read

February kept Etherlink moving. New tools came online, access into the network widened, and ETHDenver brought Etherlink into the middle of one of the month’s busiest builder gatherings. From here on, the wrap will take a wider monthly view of the launches, integrations, and activity shaping Etherlink.
DeFi & Protocol Updates
This section focuses on what was happening closer to the chain itself, from the tools builders use to test new ideas to the activity already moving through Etherlink.

Shadownet launches as Etherlink’s long-term testnet (Feb. 17) #
Etherlink introduced Shadownet as its long-term testnet, giving developers a persistent environment that tracks the current Tezos state without relying on short-lived resets. It launched with a faucet for test tez, public RPC endpoints, and rolling snapshots to make node setup easier for builders working on Etherlink-connected tooling and apps.

Etherlink passes 70 million transactions (Feb. 23) #
By late February, Etherlink had moved past 70 million transactions and 1.5 million addresses, with 0.7-second block times and gas around one cent. It’s a busy chain that still runs fast and cheaply.
Ecosystem Integrations
This section looks at the integrations that widened access to Etherlink and added more infrastructure around the network.

Revoke.cash adds Etherlink to its token approval checker (Feb. 2) #
Revoke.cash now supports Etherlink, giving users a way to review and revoke token approvals tied to their wallets. The tool is widely used across other networks and now extends those same safety controls to Etherlink.

Blockfort launches Swiss Digital Art Fortress for Tezos and Etherlink (Feb. 11) #
Tezos Spotlight introduced Blockfort’s Swiss Digital Art Fortress, a regulated platform for NFT storage, visualization, minting, and custody on Tezos and Etherlink. For Etherlink, it adds a more formal custody option geared toward institutions and collections that need more than a standard wallet setup.

xU3O8 becomes available through Ramp on Etherlink (Feb. 12) #
Etherlink announced that xU3O8 from Uranium.io could now be bought through Ramp on Etherlink using card payments, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and SEPA. It gives users another direct way to buy into an asset already tied to Etherlink activity.

Goldsky adds Etherlink support for Mirror and Turbo (Feb. 17) #
Goldsky launched Etherlink support for Mirror and Turbo, expanding the developer tooling available for Etherlink. The update gives builders additional infrastructure for working with data and services connected to the network.

mMEV goes live on Ramp on Etherlink (Feb. 18) #
A few days after xU3O8, Etherlink announced that mMEV from Midas also went live on Ramp. Like the earlier Ramp addition, it adds another direct asset-access point onto Etherlink during the month.
Community & Events
This section turns to where Etherlink showed up in person during the month, from community meetups to the conference floor.

Tezos Breakfast Club brings builders together in Denver (Feb. 17) #
During ETHDenver week, Tezos hosted its Breakfast Club meetup in Denver and later shared photos from the event. It gave builders a place to meet around Tezos and Etherlink during one of the busiest conference weeks of the month

Etherlink booth features Proof of Speed and daily prizes at ETHDenver (Feb. 19) #
Etherlink set up shop at ETHDenver with a booth built around its Proof of Speed challenge, along with daily mechanical keyboard prizes, merch, and a Uranium.io giveaway. Throughout the week, people stopped by to try the Proof of Speed challenge, pick up merch, and talk with the team about what was being built on Etherlink.
Projects in Focus
Some parts of Etherlink are easier to see through the projects building on it.

Blockfort #
Blockfort is building infrastructure for storing and managing digital art and collectibles on Tezos and Etherlink. Through its Swiss Digital Art Fortress platform, the project focuses on regulated custody, giving institutions, galleries, and collectors a way to store, mint, and visualize NFTs in an environment designed for long-term asset management.

Curve on Etherlink #
Curve brings its stable swap liquidity model to Etherlink, giving users a place to trade closely related assets with low slippage and deep liquidity pools. Known for its role in DeFi across multiple chains, centered on low-slippage trading and liquidity pools for closely related assets.

Superlend #
Superlend brings lending and borrowing to Etherlink, giving users a place to put idle assets to work or access liquidity without selling their holdings. Built around familiar lending market mechanics, the platform lets users supply assets to earn yield or borrow against their positions, bringing lending and borrowing to Etherlink.
We’ll be back next month with the next Etherlink Wrap. Until then, keep building.
