I honestly don’t know how many browser bookmarks related to Tezos I’ve accumulated over the years.

Every few weeks I end up adding another one. Sometimes it’s a new tool, sometimes it’s a clever dashboard, and sometimes it’s one of those websites that makes you wonder, “Wait…how did I not know this existed already?”

That’s exactly why this series has managed to reach a sixth part. Tezos isn’t just growing through new applications and protocol upgrades. It’s also growing through the countless small tools people build to solve real problems for the rest of the community.

So, let’s add five more bookmarks to the collection.

colleKT #

Let’s start with a cool way to experience your Tezos NFTs, or any Tezos collection in general. colleKT is a tool by FAFO Lab that lets you paste any wallet, collection, or even Objkt curation, and it turns it into a virtual 3D gallery that you can walk through and explore the art in a much more interactive way.

Every collection is split into different rooms, with 20 NFTs in each, and you can easily jump to any room you like at any moment. You can also click on any artwork you like and find out more details, like the creator, collection, description, editions, and links back to Objkt.

This is seriously a very helpful tool both for exploring and showcasing collections to others. And it is so easy that anyone can do it.

Teztree #

Now let’s move to another tool that showed up recently, and is getting users rapidly. Teztree, created by FlexasuarusRex, is basically a Linktree, pumped with Tezos-related features that will help you get all your Tezos-related (and not only) presence in one place with a bunch of extra options.

More specifically, on top of your personal page where you can add the usual profile information and links to all your socials, websites etc., you can also showcase collected NFTs, your latest mints, feature a specific artwork with its live Objkt price, add tez tipping buttons, and of course, you can customize your page with different themes, fonts, colors, and layouts.

But wait, there’s more! Flex has recently added a Teztree Funding page, allowing anyone to launch crowdfunding campaigns that are funded directly in tez, without any escrow or middleman custody involved. Contributions go straight to the campaign creator’s wallet.

Setting up your Teztree is really easy with a very straightforward and pleasing UI. More than 100 people have already claimed their Teztree handles, and I am sure it will keep growing fast. So go get yours.

ELEVEN #

My artistic capabilities in full display!

While we are talking about Flex’s tools, let’s take a look at another one he created recently. ELEVEN is a browser-based pixel editor that lets anyone create 11x11 pixel art.

The artworks you create are fully onchain, and they don’t need to be pinned on IPFS or anything similar. The idea is that this way, there is no server that needs to stay online, no hosting costs, and generally no risk of your artwork disappearing if the platform is ever gone. As long as Tezos exists, your artwork exists too.

The whole UI, including the editor, is super simple and easy to use, and it made even me (I am by no means an artist) want to spend time playing around and eventually minting two pieces for fun. When minting, you can choose how many editions you want, and the trading of the artworks happens on Objkt. The only cost you pay is the storage cost for storing it onchain, the tool itself is free.

And if 11x11 feels too small, Flex just released TWENFIDDY, which uses the exact same UI, but it gives you a 25x25 canvas to work with. Now bring your inner child out and go do some cool drawings!

TEZGOV #

Now let’s move to a governance-related tool created by TezCapital. TEZGOV, is an interface designed for bakers, delegators, stakers, and any users who want to be active in the chain’s governance.

Through TEZGOV, as a baker you can register or reactivate your bakery, change baking parameters, secondary keys, and vote on both Layer 1 and Etherlink proposals, all in the same place. But even if you are not a baker, and you are a delegator or a staker, you can use it to stake/unstake, change bakers, and most importantly, signal how you would like your baker to vote on the ongoing governance proposals.

Although the bakers themselves still have the final say for their votes, a lot of them would appreciate knowing if their delegators and stakers are in favor in favor of a particular proposal or not.

NftBiker’s Event’s Manager #

If you have been in the Tezos art scene for a while, you most probably have heard about NFTBiker’s Tezos NFTs events page. It is where people can go to find artworks minted for specific events that happened or are still ongoing. Until recently, though, if you wanted to get your Tezos art event or initiative included, you had to ask NFTBiker to set it up for you.

But as an awesome builder that he is, NFTBiker once again wanted to make it much easier for Tezos artists. So in June, he released the Event Manager, which allows anyone to create their own simply by entering the details like the event name, description, dates, tags, limits, and a bunch of other options that you can set up yourself.

Once your event is live, artists who mint their artworks using the tags you defined will have them appear alongside all the other artworks on that event’s page. If you were planning to organize a themed minting event, or any other similar community initiative, I am sure this tool will come in handy!

When I started this series back in 2024, I was thinking that maybe I’d get three or four parts out. Somehow, we are already at Part VI and I still have a list of tools waiting to be featured.
