Tezos Commons has just published the latest issue of its weekly newsletter, The Baking Sheet. Among other updates, Issue #128 includes new of the Professional Services Agreement between Tezos and Unity technologies for Web3 Blockchain SDK Development, and highlights from the Tezos booth at Art Basel Miami Beach.
Back in May, Tezos and game development platform Unity entered into an agreement to create a Web3 Blockchain SDK, to be available upon approval as an optional plugin in the Unity Asset Store. Tezos is making big moves in gaming, with the Unity announcement coming on the heels of partnerships with Ubisoft, CCP Games (Eve Online), esports teams Team Vitality and Misfits Gaming Group, among others. This week's announcement paves the way for developers to integrate Web3 solutions into the next generation of games.
One of the biggest events in the global events calendar is happening now, and Tezos is in the Spotlight! Art Basel Miami Beach opened this week, and Tezos is there, presenting a major exhibition: Performance in Code: Deciphering Value in Generative Art. The exhibition is built around a live minting experience, where the work displayed on the digital walls evolves as attendees mint more pieces throughout the show. Also on the agenda is a series of conversations, presented in partnership with Serpentine Galleries. If you can't make it to the show, panel discussions are being livestreamed on the Tezos YouTube channel.
In other news this week, Cordell Broadus, aka Champ Medici, aka musician Snoop Dogg's son, is launching a new $1M art fund, in partnership with the Tezos Foundation. Read more about it here.
