The open-source plugin was developed by Blokhaus - a Web3-focused marketing and communications agency (full disclosure - Spotlight is operated by Blokhaus). Minterpress was developed with the aim of empowering WordPress users by both simplifying the process of NFT creation, and giving them control, reducing their reliance on third-party NFT marketplaces.
WordPress is used by more than 40% of all the websites on the Internet, and Minterpress joins almost 60,000 plugins currently available for the platform. No coding knowledge is necessary to use Minterpress - users can create a gallery of NFTs to display on their WordPress site or simply provide a link to an NFT marketplace for customers to purchase their work. All NFTs posted on MinterPress are minted on the Tezos blockchain, which has gained a passionate following in recent years among artists and collectors for its energy-efficiency and low transaction fees.
