Welcome to our latest issue, Month At A Glance (July 2026), where we give a quick rundown of the latest happenings and significant milestones in the Tezos ecosystem on a monthly cadence.
July felt like a month where a lot of things came together. Tokenized uranium reached one of crypto’s largest exchanges, TezCon returned for another successful year, and Etherlink took another major step toward Tezos X. Around those milestones, the ecosystem kept growing through new tools, integrations, and community initiatives.

Ecosystem Insights #
Tokenized Uranium Arrives on Kraken. #
We’ll kick things off with one of the month’s biggest announcements. Metals.io reached another important milestone in July, with its tokenized uranium (xU3O8) becoming available for trading on Kraken, one of the world’s longest-running cryptocurrency exchanges.
Kraken now joins a growing list of platforms offering xU3O8, alongside Metals.io, KuCoin, MEXC, BingX, LBank, and Hanji. The listing gives one of Tezos’ flagship real-world assets exposure to a much wider audience and marks the first time tokenized uranium has been listed on a major centralized exchange.
The announcement also adds another important first for the ecosystem. Kraken adding xU3O8 to its platform, it means it has also integrated Etherlink. Although xU3O8 is the first asset making use of that integration, it also opens the door for future Etherlink-powered assets to make their way onto the exchange.
Another Successful TezCon Is in the Books #
If you’ve been following the ecosystem over the past few months, you probably knew this one was coming. After months of preparation, TezCon 2026 finally took place in Seattle, bringing together artists, developers, builders, collectors, and community members for another weekend of talks, performances, exhibitions, and plenty of conversations.
Like every TezCon, the schedule was only part of the story. Some of the most valuable moments happened between sessions, as online friendships turned into real ones, new ideas were shared, and old friends had the chance to catch up in person. It’s that sense of community that continues to make TezCon one of the highlights of the Tezos calendar year after year.
And with TezCon 2027 already confirmed before this year’s event had even wrapped up, it’s safe to say this has become much more than a one-off gathering. It’s now an annual tradition that many in the ecosystem look forward to.

Etherlink 7.0 Sets the Stage for Tezos X #
We’ll wrap up this month’s Ecosystem Insights with one of the biggest technical announcements from the very end of July. Etherlink 7.0, codenamed Ganesha, was unveiled as the largest expansion of Etherlink’s scope since launch and another major milestone on the road to Tezos X.
The proposal introduces Michelson smart contracts and Tezos accounts as first-class citizens on Etherlink, alongside Native Atomic Composability (NAC), allowing Michelson and EVM applications to interact atomically on the same shared ledger. These are concepts we’ve already seen running on the Tezos X Previewnet, but with Etherlink 7.0 they’re now making their way toward mainnet.
Beyond the new functionality, the upgrade also introduces infrastructure that allows existing Tezos wallets, indexers, and applications to interact with Etherlink much like they already do with Tezos Layer 1. If approved through Etherlink’s governance process, Ganesha will become another important step toward the full Tezos X rollout planned for later this year.
News From The Tezos Ecosystem: Quick Bits #
Beyond those insights, the ecosystem saw plenty of other noteworthy developments worth a quick look:
- The Tezos Dashboard Just Got Better
The Tie rolled out a major update to the Tezos Dashboard this month, bringing Tezos Layer 1 and Etherlink together into a single view. The dashboard also adds dedicated sections for RWAs, DeFi, and exchange activity, making it easier to get a quick overview of what’s happening across the ecosystem. - Utila Adds Support for Etherlink
Utila added support for Etherlink, making it possible for businesses and institutions using the platform to manage Etherlink-based assets. As more service providers integrate Etherlink, it becomes easier for organizations to build and operate on the network. - Kento Heads to Kickstarter
After months of teasing the project, Kento announced that Season 01 will launch on Kickstarter. The first collection, themed Web Nostalgia, features physical collectible art cards from 40 digital artists, with two final artists selected through a community open call. Ahead of launch, collectors can already join the waitlist to receive updates and early access when the campaign goes live. - Etherlink 6.6 Goes LiveJuly saw the activation of Etherlink 6.6, introducing another set of security hardening improvements. A few days later, core developers published a detailed post-mortem covering the 6.4, 6.5, and 6.6 upgrades, explaining the issues that were fixed and confirming that none of the reported vulnerabilities were ever exploited.
- Critical Mass Heads to World Nuclear Symposium 2026
Critical Mass, the podcast brought to you by Uranium.io, was announced as an official media partner of the 2026 World Nuclear Symposium. The team will be on the ground in London this September, speaking with industry leaders and covering topics ranging from energy security and fuel markets to policy and the future of nuclear energy. - Vaults.fyi Integrates Etherlink
Developers building on Etherlink gained another integration in July, with Vaults.fyi adding support for Etherlink-native vaults. Through a single API, builders can integrate vaults such as Midas’ mBASIS and mTBILL into wallets, frontends, and neobanking applications, making it easier to build on top of tokenized yield products. - objkt Adds Collection Offers for fx(hash) and Bootloader
objkt expanded its collection offer feature to support fx(hash) and Bootloader collections. Instead of placing offers on individual pieces, collectors can now submit a single offer across an entire collection, making it easier to discover, collect, and bid on generative art series. - Oku Launches Borrow 2.0 with Etherlink Support
Oku Trade introduced Borrow 2.0, bringing a streamlined borrowing experience across nine blockchain networks, including Etherlink. Instead of manually comparing lending markets, users can enter their collateral and quickly discover the best borrowing opportunities available across supported chains.
