Month At A Glance — October 2026
A quick rundown of the latest happenings and significant milestones within the Tezos ecosystem for October 2026.
10 minute read

Welcome to our latest issue, Month At A Glance (October 2026), where we give a quick rundown of the latest happenings and significant milestones in the Tezos ecosystem on a monthly cadence.
October was a full month for Tezos, with new projects and platforms emerging, existing ones expanding their offerings, and plenty of activity from both builders and the wider community. We saw new ways for artists and collectors to connect, along with developer tools, infrastructure improvements, and community-led initiatives, so we have a lot of catching up to do.
Let’s break it all down.
Ecosystem Insights #

TezCity Opens Its Doors to Tezos Artists and Collectors #

Let’s start with a newcomer to the ecosystem. In early October, Ida Belle announced TezCity, a social platform made for the people behind Tezos art, where artists and collectors can follow each other and supporting an artist happens right inside the platform.
Artists can offer memberships and exclusive posts to their supporters, and anyone can send a tez tip to say thanks for a piece. Collectors earn badges for what they collect, and leaderboards bring some friendly competition on top. It gives artists a more direct line to the people who back them and gives collectors a way to be recognized for it.
TezCity didn’t stop at the social side. The Starfall arcade game arrived later in the month, and the new analytics tools show artists who is collecting their work, what is selling, and where it is reaching people. Those are open through a waitlist, with new members approved every day. If you’d like to hear how it came together, and what more to expect, Ida talked about it with us on Tuesday-Tezday Ep. 202 and TezTalks Live!
objkt Launches objkt social to Bring Collecting and Conversation Together #

And while we’re on the topic of social platforms, another great development came from the objkt team, which announced objkt social on October 28. It’s an addition to the marketplace that lets the community talk, follow and collect in the same place. It runs on the AT Protocol, the open protocol behind Bluesky, so you can sign in with a Bluesky account or create a new one.
You can follow your favorite artists and collectors, join group chats, and collect a piece straight from a post. Until now, discovering art, talking about it and collecting it usually happened in different places, and this brings those steps closer together around the art itself.
I think this is a great move. Artists don’t have to depend on X anymore to get seen, and they can talk to people who are actually into Tezos art. Collectors get an easier way to find new artists too. Most of all, objkt has artists and collectors spread across many different platforms for the social side, and now they can all have it straight from inside the marketplace they already love.
Teia Backs 11 Community-Run Events for Its Second Cohort #

Staying with the community side of Tezos art, Teia announced on October 20 the second cohort of its community events program, funded in stages by a grant from the Tezos Foundation. The first cohort was announced in June for events running through the summer. For this one, community members pitched their own ideas, and the selected proposals went through a review and a multisig vote before Teia agreed to help bring them to life between August and December.
The eleven organizers selected are The5thForce, HPLovebux, HannahKrypt, Ivana, Jovi, Libertez, LMDesigns8, MatNova, Mad Dolph, Tan-Tan and UBERMORGEN, and the first event is already behind us. Ivana’s Teia Woman exhibition took place in Belgrade in August.
Among the ones announced so far, Mad Dolph’s #26POV is already open for submissions until November 9, Jovi’s ZERO starts on November 1, The5thForce’s #CrossPollination launches on November 6, and HPLovebux’s #PostAmericana: CIRCUS MAXIMUS kicks off on December 1. The other organizers will share their plans in the coming weeks, so follow Teia’s announcement thread to learn more and stay updated.
