TezCon 2025: Get Ready for the Ultimate Tezos Fan Experience
A Tezos Community Meet-Up You Don't Want to Miss
1,100 words, 6 minute read

Summer is approaching fast, and with it comes the second annual TezCon in Seattle. Last year, the Tezos community took the city by storm with a vibrant gathering at the Seattle NFT Museum, a space that brought art and blockchain together. Just months later, the museum sadly closed its doors for good. But nothing stops the Tezos community, and with the impact TezCon made, it was clear the event had to return. Check out an amazing video covering last year’s TezCon event here.
This year, the bar is set higher with a more traditional and well-established venue. TezCon 2025 is moving into Kenyon Hall on June 28, bringing a deeper lineup, wider reach, and more ways for artists, collectors, and Tezos enthusiasts to connect in person. With several days of events planned around the main gathering, there’s plenty to look forward to. Let’s take a look at what’s coming up. Maybe it’s not too late to book your trip.

What Is TezCon #
The idea of TezCon was born around the bonds being formed through TezTones, a collective of artists who have been competing in sports-league inspired art competitions for the past two years. With so many budding friendships through this collective, it was a natural progression to want to meet in person. What started as a simple idea has become a grassroots meet-up for all artists, builders, collectors, and thinkers active in the Tezos ecosystem. Thanks to the organic nature of how it started, TezCon will never feel like a corporate conference. It’s organized by the community itself, by people who create, collect, contribute, and with support from Tezos Commons.
From panel discussions and live music to showcases of past creations by TezTones artists and the entire Tezos Community, TezCon highlights the creativity and collaboration that define the Tezos art scene. It’s a place where online connections take physical form, and where shared values meet shared space.
Whether you’re deep into smart contracts, just minted your first NFT, or simply curious about what sets Tezos apart, TezCon is an event where you can explore, connect, and be inspired. If you can’t make it in person, livestreams and digital spaces are being prepared so the broader community can tune in and take part. In fact, Tezos Gaming will be in attendance, capturing and streaming the entire event.

What’s Happening at TezCon #
As I’ve mentioned already, TezCon isn’t just a one-day event. It’s a full weekend of connection, creativity, and community. Here’s a quick rundown of the schedule for this year:
Thursday, June 26 — For early arrivals, Mark Fendel is hosting a relaxed tour of West Seattle. Expect beaches, gardens, hidden spots, and top-tier hospitality.
Friday, June 27 — The day begins with a visit to the Duwamish Longhouse, followed by happy hour at Tim’s Tavern and a community BBQ to set the tone for the weekend.
Saturday, June 28 — The main event at Kenyon Hall kicks off at 4 p.m. with panels, art, and music, plus delicious food by The Singing Chef.
Sunday, June 29 — The final day shifts to a more laid-back backyard setting with live music, interactive art, and good vibes as we celebrate Hashbrown’s birthday. Hashbrown founded TezTones, and none of this could have happened without his initial vision and efforts!

The Art, the Music, and the Panels #
The creative energy at TezCon last year was strong, and this year it’s being taken even further. With curated art, community panels, and music from artists across the Tezos ecosystem, the event promises a full spectrum of expression.
A selection of digital works will be displayed on a large projector screen inside Kenyon Hall, curated by TEIA. The screen will showcase submissions from across the community, allowing creators to be part of the experience whether they’re attending in person or not.
The music lineup is packed with talent from within the Tezos scene. I will bring a solo acoustic set with grounded, heartfelt energy. Hashbrown will take the mic for a rap set filled with lyrical fire. Ryan Tanaka returns to the piano for a classical and ambient performance. B Dwil is performing a full set of original music with an audio-reactive visual accompaniment by PaulWhoIsAGhost. And if the timing is right, The Singing Chef, Chantell, might treat us to a performance of her own. (She stole the show last year!)
As organizer Ryan Tanaka puts it:
“There’s a lot of great music being made on Tezos all the time, but it often gets drowned out by the algorithms and noise. At TezCon, these artists finally get the space and time they deserve. We’re hoping it becomes a place where artists, technologists, collectors, and investors can meet and start collaborating. There are so many win-win opportunities in this space just waiting to be explored.”
Panels throughout Saturday will feature builders, artists, curators, and thinkers from across the ecosystem. Discussions will include topics like TEIA’s blockchain-based licensing system, plus other talks about upcoming Tezos projects. These sessions are designed to be open and inclusive with more dialogue than monologue. Whether you’re presenting, participating, or just listening in, the stage will be shared.
Another organizer, RegularJake explains:
“For me, TezCon was a way to gather up all the artists who had been busy for years collaborating and working together in various ways, but who had never met in person. Using the power of physical connection to rejuvenate the energy and good vibes only found within the Tezos art culture. Online conversations are great, but being within the presence of each other was, to me, a missing element in our community.”
TezCon is a genuine gathering of creative people who care about their work and about each other. Whether you are interested in the art, the music, the panels, or just the community, you’ll find yourself surrounded by inspiration and potential friendships.

See You in Seattle? #
TezCon is a chance to get closer to the people and projects that make Tezos what it is. The ideas shared, the music played, and the off-stage conversations often become the most memorable parts of the experience. If you’re thinking about attending, consider this your invitation. If you can’t be there in person, keep an eye out for livestreams, mints, and community moments shared online. You can follow Tezos Commons, and TezTones accounts to catch any updates. TezCon is open to all, in whatever way you choose to show up. If you can make it in person, visit Eventbrite here to rsvp! I look forward to seeing my favorite internet friends, in person, soon!
