Tezos Social Meet-ups (Q4 2022)

We rang in 2023 and while we reflect on 2022, it has been nothing short of an emotional roller coaster when the discussion comes to crypto. Besides the bad events that has led to the current market conditions, there is one thing that I have been very happy about.

I’m talking about the re-launch of Tezos physical meet-ups in various locations all over the world. Starting in the first half of 2022, meet-ups came back into our lives to strengthen the local Tezos communities and the ties that bond people together.

In this short article we will look into the meet-ups that happened during the last quarter of 2022. Remember that we at Tezos Commons are always looking to help people that want to host a meet up in their area so feel free to reach out to us here.

Tezos Vancouver #

One of the most active locations, Tezos Vancouver has been hosting Tezos meetups almost every month. Tezos & Tacos has now become a standard event for Tezonians in the area to attend and have fun.

In Q4 there were 2 other events, one on October 13th and one on November 9th with more scheduled for the New Year.

Tezos Greece #

Another active location for Tezos social meet ups is Athens, Greece. Tezos Greece is a local Tezos community that started small and has been growing by organizing various meet-ups for the local Tezos fans.

Their most recent meet-up was on November 19th, 2022 where they gave out cool swag as well!

Tezos Texas (Austin) #

Austin, Texas is becoming another one of the regular Tezos meet-up locations with a growing community. With their latest meet-up on December 1st being a success (and fun), they are looking to host more in 2023!

Tezos Australia #

On November 12th, 2022, Tezonians in Australia had its first social meet-up in Perth, Australia. Food, drinks, and Tezos discussions is a recipe for a fun time and that’s why in 2023 there will be more meet-ups in Perth!

Tezos New Hampshire #

Another first time location we saw in Q4 of 2022 is New Hampshire, USA. Specifically on December 3rd, 2022, Tezos New Hampshire hosted their first ever Tezos meet-up to connect Tezonians from around the area!

Five locations in three different continents is a great start for Tezos physical meet-ups, but it’s just that, a start! In 2023 we are looking forward to adding more locations so that we can expand the physical presence of the already amazing Tezos global community.
